Ambassador Sun Gongyi Paid a Courtesy Call on the Prime Minister of Mauritius

On 27 November 2019, Ambassador Sun Gongyi of Mauritius paid a courtesy call on Hon. Pravind Kumar Jugnauth, Prime Minister of Mauritius. The two sides exchanged views on deepening China-Mauritius friendship and expanding practical cooperation in various fields. Commercial Counsellor Hu Ming accompanied the meeting.

 

                                                      

 

Congratulating on Mr. Jugnauth's re-election as prime minister, Ambassador Sun said that China-Mauritius pragmatic cooperation has yielded fruitful results in the past years, the friendship between the two countries is deeply rooted in the hearts of the two peoples. China is willing to continue supporting the economic and social development of Mauritius and lift our bilateral relations to a new level.

 

                                                     

 

Mr. Jugnauth said that he was honored to receive President Xi Jinping last year. Mauritius is quite satisfied with the friendly and mutually beneficial cooperation between the two countries in various fields, and is willing to further strengthen exchanges and mutual learning with China to inject new impetus into the development of bilateral relations.
