Counselor Wang Ju, spouse of the Chinese Ambassador pays an official call to spouse of Mauritian Prime Minister

On August 9th, 2018, Counselor Wang Ju paid a courtesy call to the spouse of Mauritian Prime Minister Mrs. Kobita Jugnauth at the official residence of Prime Minister Pravind Jugnauth.

Mrs. Kobita Jugnauth recalled rejoicingly the unforgettable scene of receiving President Xi Jinping and his wife, saying that the leaders of both countries had established profound friendship through close and cordial communication and looked forward to meeting again. Mrs. Kobita Jugnauth expressed her gratitude towards Counselor Wang Ju for her support and assistance during President Xi's visit to Mauritius and expected frequent visits from Counselor Wang at the residence. She also hoped that more beneficial cooperation with the Chinese Embassy could be conducted in the areas of charity and women's career.

Expressing gratitude towards President Jugnauth and his wife for the special and considerate arrangements for President Xi and his wife's visit to Mauritius, Counselor Wang Ju said that the Chinese delegation had got a deep and good impression of the beautiful paradise of Mauritius. She was convinced that the visit would bring new opportunities to bilateral cooperation and raise China-Mauritius relations to a new level. She herself was willing to strengthen cooperation and communication with Mrs. Jugnauth and make positive contribution in the fields of Chinese and Mauritian women's empowerment, children's education and so on.
