According to the newly amended Agreement on Mutual Visa Exemption Between the Government of the People's Republic of China and the Government of the Republic of Mauritius, effective from 14 June 2017, the duration of each stay upon visa exemption for Chinese and Mauritian citizens is extended to 60 days.

Embassy of the People's Republic of China in the Republic of Mauritius celebrates International Children's Day

On the first Sunday of June 2017, the Ambassador's spouse of the People's Republic of China in the Republic of Mauritius, Mrs Zhao Jiangping, celebrated the International Children's Day and Family Day, inviting around 200 teachers and students of primary schools, from the Chinese entreprises in Mauritius to celebrate the festival. 

Ms Bhunjun, Director of Family Welfare and Protection of the Ministry of Gender Equality, also attended the event.  Moreover, the Mrs. Zhao Jiangping welcomed the Chinese and Mauritian children, wishing them a healthy growth, hoping that the spend a wonderful and unforgettable Children's Day at the Embassy of the People's Republic of China in the Republic of Mauritius.

The little angels of different ethnicity roll on the lawn and jumped on the inflatable castle, focus on the color drau for 3D printing Confucius. They followed the teachers to take part in puzzle games, watch cartoons, and also tasted the traditional Chinese dumplings and other food. Dazzling magic show and thrilling lottery session were also part of this wonderful event. 

All Chinese and Mauritian children said that this was the most memorable Children's Day they ever spent where they made new friends surrounded by the beautifulness of the Embassy of the People's Republic of China in the Republic of Mauritius. They are looking forward to coming again during for next year's Celebration.
