Ambassador Sun Gongyi Pays a Courtesy Call on Vice President of Mauritius

On December 13, Ambassador Sun Gongyi paid a courtesy call on the newly-appointed Vice President Boissezon, and the two sides exchanged views on developing friendly relations between China and Mauritius, enhancing friendship between the two peoples and expanding cooperation in various fields.

Ambassador Sun Gongyi congratulated Mr. Boissezon on his new appointment as vice president, saying that President Xi Jinping's visit to Mauritius in 2018 has enhanced the friendship between the peoples of the two countries and pushed the friendly relations between China and Mauritius to a new level. China wishes to support Mauritius's economic and social development as always, and believes that the two countries will continue to cooperate closely in the future to promote the continuous development of bilateral friendship.

Vice President Boissezon said that Mauritius is honored to receive President Xi Jinping's delegation and is willing to work closely with China to continuously expand practical cooperation in various fields and inject new impetus into the development of China-Mauritius relations.
