On December 13, 2019, Ambassador Sun Gongyi met with Mr. Wang Bin, Chairman of China Jiangsu International Economic and Technical Cooperation, together with his delegation. Commercial Counsellor Hu Ming was present at the meeting.

Ambassador Sun Gongyi was briefed by Chairman Wang Bin on the development of China Jiangsu International Economic and Technical Cooperation in Africa and Mauritius. Ambassador Sun Gongyi underscored that Chinese-funded enterprises have a good reputation for development in Mauritius, adding that enterprises should give first priority to regularized operation and safety of production. At the same time, enterprises must attach importance to fulfilling social responsibilities and doing public welfare work locally.

Chairman Wang Bin thanked the Chinese Embassy for its long-term guidance and support to China Jiangsu International Economic and Technical Cooperation in its development in Mauritius, saying that China Jiangsu International Economic and Technical Cooperation would continue to work hard and make its due contribution to the economic and trade cooperation between China and Mauritius.
